Week #5 - Run #3 (cancelled)

Guess who is feeling like crap again today?

My phlegm-ish throat from the other day turned into a sore and scratchy throat. Sucks to be me! It's funny how I have had years with nary a cold or the flu, but it's caught up with me this year; it has been a winter in which I am susceptible to every bug. In spite of eating more fruits and vegetables on a daily basis than ever before, my immunity system is clearly compromised. :(

  1. I think it's good to skip a few runs when you're sick.. working hard can hurt your immune system.

    When I get a sniffle, I usually put garlic in EVERYTHING I eat, and increase my consumption of onions! May not work for everyone, but I am a fan of garlic sauce... :)
